Paper Prints Policy

Purpose
Digital & Social Review is a digital-first scholarly journal. This policy outlines the limited circumstances under which paper prints are generated and distributed.

Standard Policy: No Routine Paper Prints
The journal does not produce or distribute routine paper copies of its issues or individual articles. All formal publication, distribution, and archiving are conducted electronically through the journal's official website and partner preservation services.

Author Prints
Corresponding authors will receive one (1) high-quality, bound print copy of the issue in which their article appears, at no cost. This copy is for the author's personal archival use only.

Special Print Runs
Upon special request and subject to budgetary approval, the editorial office may facilitate a limited print run for specific purposes, such as:

  • Distribution at a relevant academic conference where the journal is being featured.

  • Archival deposit in a designated national or flagship library, as required by specific institutional mandates.
Requests for special print runs must be submitted in writing to the Editorial Office and approved by the Managing Editor.

Print-on-Demand for Readers
Individuals may generate a single paper copy of any published article for their own personal, non-commercial research use. Any systematic or commercial printing, redistribution, or sale of paper copies is strictly prohibited without the express written permission of the publisher.

Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed periodically to align with the journal's digital publishing practices and author/reader needs.
